In V14 we introduced Web Pages. This is the technology currently supported by 1-Click Deployment. We may expand it to support WAMs in the future, but nothing earlier than that.

The long answer is that LANSA is working towards implementing features which will allow it to be be incorporated into a CI/CD pipeline.

All the SQL Server Express limitations are removed if you install SQL Server Developer Edition. It is free and is fully licensed for development, testing and demonstrations though it is not licensed for production. It is has all the capabilities of SQL Server Enterprise Edition.

I am able to instantiate a 14.1 IDE instance in ap-southeast-2 (Sydney).
You are probably instantiating the instance in a different Region and thus you are using a different AMI. This AMI is created by AWS from an AMI that LANSA provides. So, the most likely cause is that the AMI has been corrupted ...
