Re: Sorting PRIM_LCOL

Hi Mark. That is something I have never used nor was aware of. Seems to be an interesting concept. I am just unsure if that would work while utilizing *ListFields. Ideally, I would have just sorted the LCOL but Sort_List only seems to work for Working Lists. Maybe I will give this a try sometime. Th...

Re: Sorting PRIM_LCOL

Thanks again for the response Stewart. I've never tried sorting Keyed Collections before. Do you mean to create a keyed collection keyed by the field I want to sort on? For example PRIM_KCOL<#Price #RP> Or PRIM_KCOL<#Product #RP>? Unfortunately, I am a bit tight with my schedule right now so I will ...

Re: Sorting PRIM_LCOL

Hi Stewart. Thanks for the response. The way I display the list is by having all the data lie in a collection in a data model RP. Then the displayed list is controlled by pagination controls (page numbers, sorting, etc.) and gets only the data it needs to display from the data model depending on how...

Sorting PRIM_LCOL (RESOLVED)

Hi, I am working with a List Collection inside a Reusable Part that acts as a data model shared between components. There is a particular list that can be controlled by a Sort control in one of the Views I am displaying. Using the Sort_List over the property of the List Collection ends up with compi...

VL Web - Hover event on list cell on the same row

Good day, It looks like the ItemMouseEnter or almost any "Item" tied event on a PRIM_LIST only triggers once for the same row. For example, hovering over column1 which would show a popup panel and then moving the mouse immediately to column2 will not trigger the event again. I was able to resolve th...

Re: XPRIM_RandomAccessJsonReader and ReadStringWithName

@tsupartono thanks for the response. That is what I did eventually and it did work.

However, I thought there was a way for the reader to read specific strings without having to specify the paths or objects.

XPRIM_RandomAccessJsonReader and ReadStringWithName

Hi. I have been trying to use XPRIM_RandomAccessJsonReader to read through the JSON object coming from an HttpResponse below: { "operation": { "result": { "message": "Request details added successfully.", "status": "Success" } } } According to the documentation, it seemed like the RandomAccessJSONRe...

PRIM_MD.Dropdown Icons

Hi. I have a PRIM_MD.Dropdown with icons that would be different for each entry. I noticed that the dropdown list displays after the Icon and this pushes the suggestions to the right. In a small display like in the sample below, the Dropdown Entries are not visible anymore except if the Dropdown's t...

Re: Material Design Icon on Data Table List

Thanks @jyoung. Sorry for the late response as I haven't been able to get back to working on this yet.

Anyway, I will try this out but it looks to me that it will work as intended.

Re: Material Design Icon on Data Table List

Ran into some troubles with this after a while. I am now trying to open separate Dialogs when each of the Material Design Icon RPs are clicked. The icons are defined in the same way as @jyoung suggested (many thanks for that). This RP column however, only has a "ColumnClick" Event. What would be the...

Re: Material Design Icon on Data Table List

This worked perfectly. Thanks a lot. I had tried to implement it similarly yesterday but the problem was I was using *ListFields on the RP. Dragging it to the list for multiple columns ended up with the compile getting an error which makes sense as it was like dragging the same field over the list m...

Material Design Icon on Data Table List

I have been trying to add a Material Design Icon to a Data Table but it does not seem to be allowed. The Data Table that can be dragged from the Material Design Controls looks to be the older version List View. EDIT: Figured out some things after some more tests and am now down to two options. Creat...

JSON Reader for Nested Arrays

Hi. I am trying to get the "County" name using Google's Geocoder API. The API returns a JSON object with nested arrays. { "results" : [ { "address_components" : [ { "long_name" : "102", "short_name" : "102", "types" : [ "subpremise" ] }, { "long_name" : "2001", "short_name" : "2001", "types" : [ "st...
