PasswordChar + Numeric Field + Material Design + Numeric Keyboard

Hi all. Simple scenario for all you Material Design / Web experts... I've got a numeric repository field on a web page, e.g; Define_Com Class(#MyField.EditField) Name(#MyField) Parent(#COM_OWNER) Appearance(TextFieldArea) Clearbutton(True) Captionposition(None) Helperposition(None) The field is set ...

Re: VL-Web V14SP1: the way to acquire the device ID in the VL-WEB program

Hi all. I just wondered if anything has changed since this original post (now we are at V14 SP2)? Specifically, I'm using LANSA Mobile to wrap up a VL Web app - is there either a property of the LANSA application or a widget + javascript feature which would allow me access to the mobile device UUID ...

Re: Material Design Icon on Data Table List

Hi all. As a another alternative to this - I created a PRIM_OBJT component to act as a generic conduit for any extra, custom events which a cell design column component in a list might generate. I had a situation where the row design was visually complex and where the cell design needed to fire mult...

Re: Offline(local) "database" storage in LANSA Mobile

Hi David Brilliant - thanks for this - yep I'm also using a specific "root" name for the local storage entries so I can pick them up at a later time... its good to know I'm thinking along the right lines. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn't a "xDeviceDirList" floating around somewhere that ...

Re: Offline(local) "database" storage in LANSA Mobile

Is there a way to "list" files which have been written to a device using write widget? I can write, read back and delete if I know the file name... but I wonder if there is a way to list contents?

Re: Input Capable List TabbingStyle property - VL Web

Hi

Just wondered if this feature made it into VL Web? I'm at V14 SP2 and can't see anything obvious in PRIM_LIST?

Cheers!

Re: XPRIM_HTTPRequest vs CSV Data

Hi.

Brilliant! Much appreciated... yep works a treat! I've now got my test CSV downloaded from Azure, into the server module, transformed and passed down to the client as a list.

Thanks for this.

XPRIM_HTTPRequest vs CSV Data

Hi all. I've been playing with using the XPRIM_HTTPRequest to download a CSV from an Azure Blob, in a Container, into a server routine. That works... and I can see that the HTTPRequest.Response does indeed contain the data... but it is just a stream of characters, with the odd linefeed. What I reall...

Re: Icons on picture

Hi René

I've done exactly this... in VL (windows rich client)... but not with feet :-)

But other than that, yes, perfectly possible.

Best regards.

VL Web - Current Character position in a PRIM_TEXT

Hi all. In a VL Web application I've created a free format multi-line edit box (using a PRIM_TEXT), where in addition to random typing the user can right click, launch a pop up menu which has some preset text options that (when selected) will be inserted into the edit box. That all works - but at th...

Re: Server modules

Thanks for this Greg.

What you've suggested should fit in really nicely with the specific scenario I've got.

Thanks for the full and informative response. Much appreciated.

Cheers for now.

Re: Server modules

Hi all. Continuing this thread... I've got a vaguely similar scenario, but the page I'm transferring to is not LANSA. I'm trying to work out the best / safest approach for implementing this... Basically I've got a VL Web application, a customer logs on and I establish a server session. Once logged i...

LANSA Mobile White Labelling

Hi.

Just wondered if LANSA Mobile can be white-labelled as a custom app (with hardcoded URLs etc) and made available via the app stores?

Cheers for now.

Re: Does Server Module use PERMFILOVR

Hi all.

Related to this, I've recently used the POINT command in a server module to allow FETCH, SELECT etc to access data from a logical file with non-standard field names.

This worked as expected; data read successfully by the server routine.

Cheers.

DragColumns in VL Web

Hi all.

Just wondered if there was a facility in a VL Web PRIM_LIST component, similar to DragColumns in a PRIM_LTVW, to allow a user to re-arrange list columns at run time?

Cheers for now.

Marcus.
