Re: Form V14SP2 : How to launch a browser from a form

Agree, just a quick suggestion to that, to open the page in the current default browser instead of just chrome

Code: Select all

* rundll32 url.dll,FileProtocolHandler https://www.lansa.com
Use Builtin(SYSTEM_COMMAND) With_Args('H' 'rundll32' 'url.dll,FileProtocolHandler' 'www.LANSA.COM') To_Get(#STD_NUM)

Re: checking VLF-ONE permissions

I hope somebody will have that, but if not... Another idea, could be to submit a hidden command in the vlf https://docs.lansa.com/15/en/lansa048/index.htm#lansa/lansa048_3610.htm#lansa048_3610 which will be in loop, with a very short delay between iterations and check for records in a file that need...

Re: Frameworks and IBMi user profile

Notice that if you get that error is in the API. I kept having it for a few trial runs, double check: - try to call the api directly from the command line (use the reduced one with 2 parameters), use ' ' around the password when doing the call, this step should work perfectly before the next. - chec...

Re: checking VLF-ONE permissions

Depending how you setup your VLF-ONE (User and Authorities Tab for VLF), one of the options is to store this information in the VFPPF06 and VFPPF07, other an XML file. Checking the data in those files, looks like that particular information is encoded/encrypted... Just thinking at loud, you could us...

Re: New option"Install Import" in the Creating a patch window in Deployment Tool

Hi Maybe the documentation has been recently updated, but now there is a detail for "Install Import", and it says that it imports the standard (the LANSA standard) imports and the LANSA repository definitions, so I understand is basically the LANSA required things in the repository that you normally...

Also you could send the clearCriterionList in the URI:

Code: Select all

SEND HOST(servged1) URI(/serviceweb/rest/...../tag?clearCriterionList=false) ....

Re: API REST with LI 14.0

I would think it will be something in this realm... this is a partial mockup/example based in other thing I did before... but you need to generate trace and check it to be sure the line it is correctly formed before is been sent. if you have the json file with the content already created, you dont n...

Re: Frameworks and IBMi user profile

Hi, I Did another check to this, added information now in a test file (TESTLOG) to see if the values are been received or not. And they are. The thing to be careful is capitals and lowercase values for the password in particular that are received in the API, I get this kind of log: 20210609174032 T1...

Re: *DATETIME vs *DATE & *TIME

You could still use a datetime field, and have an ID in the file, a correlative numeric key.
I know, is an extra field, but for some reason people like to have those unique one field key ID today nowadays versus having it indexed by the fields that make unique a record.

Re: VLF-ONE, customized Logon screen, fix alignment

Hi Gerry

I tried that but seems that the change only apply inside that frame. it still loads in the left or gets all messed up.
I would think that to keep the elements under the maximum size of that panel should be best for now instead of trying to have the header and trailer wider.
