Re: VLF ONE #PRIM_MD.Input caption styling

Yes, I think that's what Donn was saying in the his previous post.
It looks like they are locked into the Google Material Design standard.
The standard was very recently changed, possibly because if people having legibility issues like yours.

Re: VLF ONE #PRIM_MD.Input caption styling

VLF-ONE uses ‘extended’ version of the base VL-Web theme. Some points to (maybe) ease confusion: • The shipped set of VLF-ONE extended themes is exactly associated the shipped VL-Web set. So the VLF-ONE theme with symbolic name MATERIALBLUE uses VL-Web’s MaterialDesignBlue theme, the theme with name...

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

Even when you get the syntax right there's other errors that can be encountered, for example:
Capture.PNG
Capture.PNG (4.27 KiB) Viewed 265 times
So I'd make sure I could read the job log fully to see either an error or a message saying the user profile was changed.

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

Good point Art - trying that from command entry yields this type of error:
Capture.PNG
Capture.PNG (5.49 KiB) Viewed 265 times
I'd search the job log for an error message like that.

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

You could also try defining a command string: Define #CommandtoExecute *char 256 #CommandToExecute := "CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(" + #LDUSER1 + ") STATUS(*DISABLED)"' Message msgtxt("Executing ======> " + #CommandtoExecute) Use Builtin(SYSTEM_COMMAND) With_Args('X' #CommandToExecute) To_Get(#STD_NUM) Then lo...

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

The L4Web job must be producing a QPJOBLOG job log file. Look in it, or look at the active jobs job log, for error messages. eg: Maybe the L4Web job user is not authorized to the CHGUSRPRF command, or authorized to change the profile of whatever name is in variable #LD_USER1 or maybe the command str...

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

#LDUSER1 is a LANSA variable? Wouldn't you have to use something like '(CHGUSRPRF USRPRF(' + #LDUSER1 + ') STATUS(*DISABLED))' to form the correct command string? I think the EXEC_OS400 command will handle substitution variables automatically, but SYSTEM_COMMAND does not. Alternatively, sometimes ( ...

Re: Using Exec_Os400 command in V13

Note comment about using the SYSTEM_COMMAND built- in function in https://docs.lansa.com/14/en/lansa015/i ... _os400.htm
Maybe that will work in a WAM.

Using VL-Windows Asynchronous Worker Processes

Using VL-Windows Asynchronous Worker Processes Why would you want to do this? So that your VL application can perform asynchronous tasks. For example:  Preparing and printing Order 41526 might take 3 or 4 seconds. You could offload the work to worker process 1 and let the user start to key in the ...

Re: FloatingPanel Linear Brush

Sorry, I'm a bit stumped by this one. Those VLF-ONE styles are related to the title bars in the pseudo window panes (and some other places). Could you redo the very small picture used right at the start of this thread to show more of the overall context? i.e. I really can't understand what the very ...

Re: FloatingPanel Linear Brush

When you say "I am changing the background on both Floating panel and Floating_atFront".

These are exposed #Prim_vs.Style properties of a VLF-ONE (VF_SY170O) theme object.

Where, when and how are you changing them?

Re: FloatingPanel Linear Brush

The names are suggestive of this being a VLF-ONE based application - but it's hard to be sure.

Coud you confirm or deny?

If yes, could elaborate a bit on the context of usage (e.g. Where and how is the code sample you provided used).

Any elaboration in the server's X_ERR.LOG file?
Typically that's found in c:\windows\temp folder.

Re: Theme Text color

I think this is a subtle defect in how VLF-ONE dynamically creates 'dual-mode' Windows Desktop and Material Design buttons. For example, in MaterialDesignPink the VLF-ONE logon looks like this: Capture1.PNG but it should look like this: Capture2.PNG Buttons you add yourself to command handlers and f...

If you drag some material design buttons onto a filter or command handler's panel do they also display at run time with the pink text?
