Re: VLF-ONE Back Button / Back Space

Also I think that the application is launched from a desktop icon it starts with no browser history.
So the back key and back button are logically disabled because there is no where to go back (or forward) to.

Re: VLF-ONE Back Button / Back Space

This is a classic SPA application issue. As an experiment try this cut down version of the code: evtroutine handling(#SYS_WEB.CloseQuery) querystring(#pQueryString) #pQueryString := "Are you sure you want to leave the page?" endroutine That eliminates a "clean" shutdown of VLF-ONE but maybe that doe...

Re: PDF creation

There is an example of producing client-side PDF files in the VLF-ONE shipped demonstration. Capture.PNG The example is made for VLF-ONE but most of the code could be used in any VL-Web application. The main components are VL reusable part DF_T69H30 (Print Sample Invoice) and a VL widget named DF_T6...

Re: VL-Web: can't return from a widget to a web page

I do notice that in your web page your widget does not have a Parent()? Try

Define_Com Class(#LJ12003) Name(#LJ12003) Displayposition(2) Parent(#COM_OWNER) Tabposition(2)

Re: VL-Web: can't return from a widget to a web page

You are using jQuery to fire the click event, which seems to be where the root of the problem is.
As I mentioned, unfortunately I don't know anything about using JQuery.

Re: System Default Images

Are you using names prefixed "fa-xxxxxxxxxxx".

If yes, try removing the "fa-" prefix.

e.g. #ReturnImageName := "fa-chevron-down" becomes #ReturnImageName := "chevron-down"

Re: System Default Images

There's an additional property: Define_Pty Name(uImageSource) Get(Get_uImageSource) Ptyroutine Name(Get_uImageSource) Define_Map For(*OUTPUT) Class(#VF_ELStat) Name(#ReturnImageSource) #ReturnImageSource := T Endroutine Where T= Themed image - the ones that ship with VLF-ONE. Re: VL-Web: can't return from a widget to a web page

I can get this to work, but I don't know much about jQuery: PROTOTYPE.onRealizeControl = function( parentDiv ) { var pThis = this; // Provide the code to visualize the widget, FOR EXAMPLE... parentDiv.appendChild( document.createTextNode( this.Caption ) ); $('.HR_MonthlyRoster tbody tr input:checkbo...

Re: System Default Images

If you mean something that has ancestor VF_AC028O, then they don't use those generic symbolic image names. Each slider specifies its own images directly via properties named: Define_Pty Name(uCloseIconName) Get(Get_uCloseIconName) Define_Pty Name(uDockIconName) Get(Get_uDockIconName) Define_Pty Name...

Yes, As at EPC142057 level all VLF-ONE all theme objects, whether shipped, or created as custom, start with this base set of symbolic image names: If (#uSystem.UIMaterialDesign) #COM_OWNER.AddImageName Usesymbolicname(CLOSE) Actualimagename("close") Actualimagesource(G) #COM_OWNER.AddImageName Usesy...

Some other things that might be worth consideration: --> Something like Signal Event(LogOnAttemptRequested) Platformu("<<TWOFACTOREXTERNAL>>") Platformp("<<NONE>>") could be used to let your server side validator know that it should be looking for the encrypted token on the URL and not validating th...

Re: Trouble with persistant virtual clipboard manager

I think the problem is caused by these 2 lines in your entry point form: Define_Com Class(#VF_PC002) Name(#VF_PC002) Define_Com Class(#VF_PC002) Name(#VF_PC002_1) These would instantiate two clipboard instances, which at exit are destroyed, at which time they attempt to save their content. However, ...
