Re: Single standalone webpage on System i

Yeah, well, my feelings towards SOAP aside, I have tried to work myself through the tutorial at http://docs.lansa.com/14/en/lansa093/index.htm#lansa/intbj_00500.htm and I must say that there are significant difference between the steps shown there and the UI in Lansa Integrator 14.0 on our developme...

Re: Single standalone webpage on System i

The response would probably be either XML or JSON, but the other service (out of my control) would prefer not to use SOAP.

Single standalone webpage on System i

Hi again I need to make a single webpage hosted on our System i. I have tried to get my head around the Webevent and have made a test that at least gets some sort of response - though it is mostly control codes. As far as I have found out, I should be able to call it as for example http://DOMAIN:POR...

A way to keep the samples from other solutions in the same solution group in Lansa Integrator?

I have a solution group in Lansa Integrator and it appears that the samples folder in the studio is cleared everytime I build a solution there, to be filled with samples regarding the solution I built. That way, with 3 solutions in one solution group I only have the samples for the latest solution I...

Replacing and updating the XML source in Lansa Integrator

In a solution in Lansa Integrator, I have an XML Binding where the XML format is still in flux. Most of it is fixed by now but minor changes are still expected. With the SOAP Agent I could replace the WSDL - by creating a new solution with the same name as the old solution but referencing the new WS...

Re: Do I need to close the SOAP service

Thank you for the reply. I am using it as a client, and immediately after calling the (external) server, the program will end.

Your reply was exactly what I needed :)

Do I need to close the SOAP service

When using Lansa Integrator and the SOAP agent, in the sample the service is closed, unloaded and closed with this: * Close SOAP service USE BUILTIN(JSM_COMMAND) WITH_ARGS('CLOSE') TO_GET(#JSMSTS #JSMMSG) EXECUTE SUBROUTINE(CHECK) WITH_PARMS(#JSMSTS #JSMMSG) * Unload service USE BUILTIN(JSM_COMMAND)...

Re: How to turn OFF Windows UAC in Windows 10

Also, though it may be off-topic, there is a good reason to consider the UAC setting binary; as either on or off (with a number of values for off), as described in https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/oldnew ... 0/?p=94105

Re: VLF question re. GetCurrentInstance and #vf_lw002

Yes. VLF build #140006, so I would expect it to be included already. And incredibly, after looking through the various docs for VL for a month, I found some that may be useful here: http://docs.lansa.com/14/EN/lansa048/index.htm#lansa/lansa048_0810.htm?Highlight=avlistmanager . I'll begin to go thro...

VLF question re. GetCurrentInstance and #vf_lw002

Hello everyone I work on a VLF solution but have been unable to find the documentation for the manager objects that are being used. Specifically I have a bug in my solution where I have an instance list and call Define_Com Class(#vf_sw100) Name(#avFrameworkManager) Define_Com Class(#vf_lw002) Name(#...
