Re: Post and Get with Wam

For POST, you need to do nothing special. The form that you post must have the fields you want to pass to your target webroutine (where they should be mapped for input) For passing fields in the url, see: https://docs.lansa.com/14/en/lansa087/index.htm#lansa/wamb1_220.htm%3FTocPath%3DWeb%2520Applica...

Re: Get value of Radio Button in List

But after reload, the radio button in list can not be checked in the selected value. [/i] I don't get what you mean. Please use an example. The first time load I can not set default selected too. [/i] To preset the radio button as "checked", set the value to "code". In my earlier example it would b...

Re: Get value of Radio Button in List

Hi Drop the radio button weblet over a input list column (for example std_code). Make sure you set a code value ("code" property in weblet details). See screenshot For example, if you use column std_code and nominate "CHK" as the code property, when you post the list, std_code will have "CHK" for th...

Re: Downloading PDFs using WAMS

1. Instead of setting the attachment file name using #http1.AttachmentFileName := 'mydocname'
add the header yourself: #http1.AddHeader( 'Content-disposition', 'inline; filename=mydocname')

2. The 'show_in_new_window' property is a weblet property. Look at the std_lob weblet.

Re: Downloading PDFs using WAMS

Don't set the attachment file name.

To open in a new window set the show_in_new_window property to true.

Re: Graph in WAM LANSA 13.2

Hi Leon No such a tool if you are thinking of how you create a chart in MS Excel directly from a table, but you can use RDMLX lists to populate the data in Google Image Chart weblets. Note: Version 13 ships with the deprecated image charts. Google deprecated image charts back in 2012. They still run...

Hi Casey Try using a DOM mutation observer: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MutationObserver 1. For the MutationObserverInit object set the childList and subtree properties to true 2. Set the target node to the <span> that wraps the dynamic select <select> element You will get multi...

Re: VL Web(LANSA for the Web) :Current JOB changed other user ID

Some important warnings/caveats if you change user profiles yourself within a running web job: 1. Any tables already opened won't be rechecked for authority 2. LANSA won't be aware of the user profile change (LANSA authority checks) 3. If the user profile has a different CCSID, results may be unpred...

Re: Hidden Field with Dynamic Dropdown using Ajax

Hi Trung

Let's say your regions are REG1, REG2 and REG3. For the region dropdown set the values to REG1EN, REG2EN and REG3EN for English and REG1CN, REG2CN and REG3CN for Chinese. When the region value is posted, use substring to extract the region code.

Do the same for district codes.

Re: Hidden Field with Dynamic Dropdown using Ajax

I created a similar sample (but with a dynamic select weblet to choose a language for simplicity (you can use a radio button group, but you have to add your own script for updating a hidden field and triggering a change event for this hidden field (you mentioned using a hidden field, so you might be...

Re: VLF-Wam - LANSA 13.2 - Using a dropdown in a list

Hi Pierre

Click on the “grid_col_properties” property of the grid and choose to customize the column you want to change to a dropdown. Once this is done, you can drag and drop the dropdown weblet on that column.
