Re: Adding objects to an Export List

Hi Guys A bit late posting to this question but anyway... Before proceeding to close a task, you should check out the doco for the various stages of the task lifecycle (Open, work, close, finish) so you understand what each stage means. I found this section which should be helpful. http://docs.lansa...

Re: lansaweb.dll returning status 500 but logging status 200

ITs possible that IIS is replacing the lansaweb error with its own error handling. So, I'd worry less about that at the moment and focus on whether there is a Lansa error and what it is. I'd report this to your local LANSA support group, they can give you the instructions to enable WAM logging.

Re: Tutorial WAD050 – Using Tiles

my advice was based on you executing locally. Your talk of the iSeries suggests you may not be running these locally (ie. localhost) but against an IBM backend. In which case, the reusable part may not exist on the IBM. Right clicking on the RPs properties will tell you the master repository state. ...

Re: Tutorial WAD050 – Using Tiles

Hi Kingston I'd revert back to basics. 1. perform a partition init and elect to import a) mandatory partition init and b) the demonstration material. 2. Once that's done, navigate to reuseable part xDemoWebDropDown in the repository, right click and select cross references. From the list of web page...

Re: Creating Templates

Actually, I wasn't entirely happy with my response to so I've looked at this again. Its been a long while since i had looked at this area but it didn't seem right that if you could checkout and checkin using the host monitor, that you can't also create locally (just like you can create any other obj...

Re: Creating Templates

Oops, I pressed submit by accident on my last response. If you are using a slave installation (to an IBM I master), then the application template needs to be created on the IBM I and you can use the Host monitor to check ut out to VL. http://docs.lansa.com/14/en/lansa065/index.htm#lansa/dsnbj_0001.htm

Re: Creating Templates

You can create new templates in VL only if you have a VL independent install.
