Re: *DATETIME

You haven't said what type CATGRPCL and WRK6N0 are, but hazarding a guess, this seems to work: Define Field(#dtavl) Type(*DATETIME) Length(19) Define Field(#CATGRPCL) Type(*CHAR) Length(8) Default('20190920') Define Field(#WRK6N0) Type(*CHAR) Length(6) Default('131415') Define Field(#YYYYMMDDHHMMSS)...

Re: Report with images

There are a lot of ‘reporting’ options available these days – it can be confusing. I’ll try to describe the ones I know of and their respective roles in the LANSA product: (1). The “#Report” reusable part mentioned earlier is just a shipped VLF-ONE example of how you might produce reports on the cli...

Re: VL-Web: CRLF is added, when a value is copied from an Excel cell and pasted into a field on the screen.

Not that I now of. There are articles on the Internet on how to copy MS-Excel cells without including them .... but I guess that would require end user behavioral changes.

Re: VL-Web: CRLF is added, when a value is copied from an Excel cell and pasted into a field on the screen.

It's easy to remove them from a field's content.

Are you asking if there is another way so that you do not have to do even that?

Interesting IBM i tip from Integrator team --> Is there a limit on the size of an IBM OS/400 or IBM i5/OS user profile?

Question Is there a limit on the size of an IBM OS/400 or IBM i5/OS user profile? If yes, what is this limit? Is there a limit on the total size of all pointers to objects owned by a user profile? If yes, what is this limit, and how many objects does that translate into? Answer This note applies to...

Re: drag and drop a row in list(#PRIM_MD.List)

This shipped example (xDemoWebDragandDrop) demonstrates dragging and dropping between two #PRIM_LIST controls.

I suspect that the code to do that with a #PRIM_MD.List would be more or less the same:

Re: VLF-ONE LOGIN

You could play around with the logon panel, maybe something like this: Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #vf_ac026O) Define_Com Class(#Prim_vs.Style) Name(#NoBorder) Borderbottom(0) Bordertop(0) Borderleft(0) Borderright(0) Define_Com Class(#Prim_vs.Style) Name(#TransparentBackground) Normbackcolor(Transparen...

In your code globally declare a standard reference to the VLF-ONE system manager like this: Define_Com Class(#VF_SY001O) Name(#uSystem) Scope(*APPLICATION) then add this event handler: Evtroutine Handling(#uSystem.SystemReadyforBusiness) #VLF_ONE.Image <= *Null Endroutine The background image should...

Re: How to select part of a field in a grid

You seem to be able to do it using a reusable part in the grid. This part TESTEDITOR is the reusable part: Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #PRIM_PANL *implements #Prim_dc.iMonitorSubject #Prim_dc.iContextualSubject) Defaultpty(Value) Displayposition(1) Height(25) Left(0) Tabposition(1) Tabstop(False) Top(0)...

Re: How to select part of a field in a grid

The code does it for a simple entry field, so I guess you can do it for a field in a grid: Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #PRIM_FORM) Clientwidth(1017) Clientheight(736) Componentversion(2) Left(766) Top(413) Renderstyle(DirectX) Define_Com Class(#std_Textl.Visual) Name(#Inputfield) Parent(#COM_OWNER) Disp...

You said "I made a copy of UF_OEXEC so I can custom VLF_ONE component".
Can you post the code of your copy of UF_OEXEC?

That only happens after you choose a framework to use, and then successfully logon to it. If you need to store and retrieve some information before logging o...

You might try clearing the Chrome cache and have one more try.
Failing that, I have no other ideas.

I think this now needs to go to LANSA support.

Re: being able to move a pop up panel

You are using a Windows 10 PC based browser?

If yes, then I am out of ideas.

I have again tried the simple example above in IE, Chrome. Firefox and Edge on a Windows 10 PC and all work as expected. It was compiled on an EPC142050 VL system.

I think you now need to report this to LANSA support.
