Re: Get All Data Areas in Library

Hi Joe, You could call a CL in your server module that does something like this ... you'd change the OBJ and OUTFILE to suit your needs: DSPOBJD OBJ(*ALL) OBJTYPE(*DTAARA) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE) OUTFILE(PABLIB/PABTEST) Then turn the OUTFILE file into a flat file, again you may want to change some parms li...

Re: Lansa Graphing

Hi Dave, The shipped Visual Lansa Framework (VLF) demo has a few chart samples under Example Applications --> Use Cases --> Charts. They use Chart.js. Attached is a quick export of a web page + reusable part + widget that implements a simple Polar Area chart. Please refer to https://www.chartjs.org/...

Re: VLWEB application -> Responsive VLWEB application

Hi Klaus, this should give you starting point. You can choose how to handle the popups, whether make reusable part(s) or define them inline, etc. Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #PRIM_WEB) Theme(#SYS_THEME<MaterialDesignBlue>) Height(704) Define_Com Class(#PRIM_VS.Style) Name(#Style1) Backgroundbrush(#Brush...

Re: VLWEB application -> Responsive VLWEB application

Hi Klaus, Run this application in a mobile device ... I think it behaves the way you want yours to: http://apps.lansa.com/lansav14sp2/dem/xcamain.html?lang=eng&developer=yes As per my earlier reply, if you start with a template or a sample app - in this case it's the Contacts app ... components XCA*...

Re: Creating report in lansa 14.2

Hi Pratibha, Further to Joe's reply, in case this is what you are after, the PrintExample.zip attached is a quick export with a couple of examples part of the VLF demo that will work in a normal page. It will import these components: PrintPage - web page PrintInterface - reusable part to communicate...

Hi Dominique, The attached DropFiles.zip gives you the starting point. It contains a quick export of: DropMain - web page DropContainer - reusable part, the container to drop the files DropWidget - widget handling the drag/drop operation. Drop a file < 10mb on the container and it's added to the lis...

Re: Task ID Grayed out?

Hi Art,

Usually grayed out in the repository view means whatever appears grayed out is located remotely in a slave/host config.
Otherwise I wouldn't know.

Re: Publishing Web Services

Hi Joe, Sorry, I don't know what's going on there. Dropping the first character is not a problem or should not be as it's been like this for a long time for components with names > 8 chars. Your screen shot shows the source folder ... have you looked for the .DLL in the execute folder, for example: ...

Re: How to get a PRIM_LIST with a property

Hi Sotiris, You can't pass around a PRIM_LIST as a component. You must define the list as a reusable part with certain attributes. There is an example of this in the shipped web page example: xDemoWebPassingWorkingLists where the list is defined in component xDemoWebPassingWorkingListsEmployeeItem. ...

Re: VLWEB application -> Responsive VLWEB application

Hi Klaus, My recommendation: 1. Take a look at the Visual LANSA Framework. 2. Take a look at the shipped sample apps and templates for ideas. If you decide the VLF is not suited to your application design specifics: 3. Create a web page using one of our templates or create a sample app then modify i...
