Re: Fusioncharts & VLWEB

I am not all that familiar with Fusion charts but I did see that Lansa 15 will have native chart controls for VL Web included. Not sure if you had seen the announcement.

Re: CLOB to BLOB

So I got it working. I had to remove the header info(data:image/png;base64,) from the CLOB String to get the encoding correct. Just in case someone else out there has set up your DB to capture images with CLOBs and you would like to convert to BLOB here is your code: #listcount := #base64.CurChars #...

CLOB to BLOB (RESOLVED)

I have images stored as CLOB data in a database file. Currently to display this CLOB data on the web I have a routine that disassembles the string and reassembles it using 65k chunks. I then set the image on the screen: #ExitPhoto.CurrentItem.Image <= #SYS_APPLN.CreateBitmap( #Base64 ) Everything wo...

Re: How to show a field as checkbox

Open the Field in the Repository and click the Visualization tab. Here is the code I use. I typically create an Alpha (1) field and use the below visualization. Customize the N & Y to suite your needs. Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #PRIM_OBJT) Begin_Com Role(*Visual #PRIM_EVEF) Name(#VisualEdit) Component...

Re: Base64 string longest length

Hey Art, I'm doing something similar in one of my applications. Keep in mind I am using the Camera Widget. I created a CLOB field to hold the base64 string(s). Reusable Part to Capture the Image: Evtroutine Handling(#CameraControl.Completed) Base64data(#base64) File(#file) Define_Com Class(#wbepSM01...

Re: VLF-WIN does not launch from IDE tool bar

I've ran into this - not in exactly the way you have explained but something similar. If you execute "UF_EXEC" with additional parameters, is the Render type = 'X'? My guess is possibly the last Form you executed was with Rendor='X' and that value is being defaulted(remembered) when you execute the ...

Marcus, Thanks for the reply! I'm excited that what I want to accomplish is doable. I have my feet wet with VL-WEB but by no means an expert. I do have one question: 1. How are tables defined on the local mobile client? You said , "but with some newer features we're now able to define a local set of...

Re: Decimal / Percent Conversion and Display

I hard coded your values. My end result was 114%. I was confused at how you could even get 113 when your value was clearly 1.140000. Also, I didn't throw the values to a screen. I just used a "MESSAGE_BOX_ADD" to show me the values. I would assume that shouldn't make a difference. What is the Defini...
