Re: compilation fail. as/400

Have you checked your Library List of the user that is compiling the object? Does it include the library of the object you are trying to fetch data from? Just a thought.

Re: Crystal report 9.2 for Lansa Web

Hello, I use Crystal XI for my regular VL apps. I can provide code and instructions if you are interested. For VL Web I use Crystal Reports Server. Basically you save the Report to the Reports server and then call the report and pass it parameters via a URL. Again, I can provide code & instructions ...

Re: Continuing saving images Lansa mobile

I originally posted the topic you referenced. Forget that original Post - Use the "File Picker". It is much simpler and will allow you save your images as BLOBs. The "CameraControl" Widget is a bit misleading. FilePicker does the exact same thing but allows you to use Blobs. Evtroutine Handling(#Sel...

Image Zoom

I have a carousel that displays a collection of images. I want to zoom in on the image as the user hovers the mouse over the image. I have found some third party products like (elevateZoom) that creates the zoom for you. This product (and a few others I have looked at) manipulates the DOM with jQuer...

Re: CLOB Data on iSeries

Why didn't you lead with that ?? :D I'm not sure what lead me to think the FilePicker wouldn't do that. Thanks!

Re: CLOB Data on iSeries

I work in Furniture Manufacturing. In my original project, the user wanted to take photos of the furniture before they were packed and shipped. Using the camera Control Widget, I was able to allow the user to take the picture and save it without saving it to the Camera Roll. This seemed important si...

Re: CLOB Data on iSeries

The camera Control only allows Base64 Data. The File Picker allows you to save a BLOB but not the camera control widget. I would have preferred a BLOB but this was how I was advised on my original project. I have attempted to set up one method but two different platforms of displaying the image. The...

CLOB Data on iSeries

I'm working on a simple VL-Web project of capturing an image via tablet(Camera Control Widget) and saving the image to an iSeries File as CLOB data. I have a pre-existing identical project that works but the data is saved in a Windows SQL Server. I assume once I have the CLOB data saved I should be ...

Re: Saving Images

Hamad, Thanks for your reply. I have never worked with Blobs before. Looking at the Documentation - most of the examples are using the PRIM_WEB.FilePicker. Do you have any examples using the Camera Control Widget? My users will be taking a Photo not necessarily picking an existing photo. For Example...

Saving Images

I have a project where a User wants to take a photo with his/her iPad that is associated with an order #. Easy enough I have created a Web Page that allows the user to access the camera and/or the photo gallery. I would like to save this image somewhere on the network so that I can make use of it fr...

Printing

I am curious what everyone is using for their VLF printing solutions. We have integrated Crystal Reports into pretty much everything we do and currently its what we use to deliver any kind of report to our VLF users. However, the version we are using (XI) is no longer supported and we have run into ...

Source Recovery

I accidentally deleted a Reusable Part both locally and on the Server. I have a good backup of all my production libraries. The object name is "FDHDW01". After looking through my backup I did not find an object named this but I did find "@FDHDW01". I restored this object but nothing shows up when I ...

TaskBar

Within VLF I would like to notify the user of any custom messages that may be displayed while the VLF is minimized. I would like to do this by making the Taskbar Application Icon blink. I have looked at #PRIM_FORM.Taskbar but I have not been successful in getting anything to work. Any suggestions or...

Re: VL Web running on mobile device Motorola MC9100

Rene, We upgraded to the Symbol MC92N0 (https://www.zebra.com/us/en/products/mobile-computers/handheld/mc9200.html). The outside layout of the scanner is the same to the previous models but with new internal hardware. We then purchased and installed the Zebra Enterprise Browser which will run HTMl5 ...
