Re: VLFONE: Using #SYS_WEB.RequestFailed in UF_OEXEC

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the code example!

#SYS_WEB.Navigate Url(#SYS_WEB.URL) Target(New)
#avFrameworkManager.avSwitch Caller(#COM_OWNER) Toobjectnamed(VLFONE_DEMONSTRATION) Execute('*EXIT')

solves my issue.

Thanks,
David

Re: VLFONE: Using #SYS_WEB.RequestFailed in UF_OEXEC

Hi Mark, Thank you for the explanation. That makes sense. One last question. If I do need to handle the error and want to exit gracefully, I see I can use: #VLF_ONE.uTerminate Possibletocancel(False) Browserisclosing(False) to display the "You session has ended" message. VLFONE: Using #SYS_WEB.RequestFailed in UF_OEXEC

I would like to capture all server routine failues in a single location. In VL Web, I would put the following event handling routine into my web page, set the #handled := true and process accordingly without having the page crash. Capture1.JPG If I put the same code into my copy of UF_OEXEC and caus...

Re: VLF-ONE Minimize the toolbar on start up.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for providing additional information. The use of the slider is a great idea. Thinking about sliders this way opens up all types of possibilities.

Re: VLF-ONE Minimize the toolbar on start up.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the response. The remembered state of the toolbar should be a viable alternative.

VLF-ONE Minimize the toolbar on start up.

In the latest VLF-ONE EPC 141017 it now remembers the last state of the toolbar.

Is it possible to set it so that the toolbar is minimized on first use?

Re: VLF Filter Tab Customization and Settings

It looks like the Filter Setting tab is not applicable to VLF-ONE, even when you only have Show Information for VLF-ONE checked. If you go to the documentation it indicates the options are not available in VLF-ONE.

VLF-ONE uExecute method invocation

I have noticed in VLF-ONE, if a command handler is open (current command handler) and then its command tab is clicked again. The uExecute method of the command handler is executed again. I have recreated the same scenario in VLF-WIN and the uExecute method does not invoke if I click on the command t...

VLF-ONE Inactivity log off timeout and uQueryCanClose

My VLF-ONE application uses the Inactivity log off timeout. I also have a command handler that detects the command handler is closing without saving the changes and prompts the user if they want to continue without saving. Capture1.JPG When the inactivity timeout occurs the message is displayed. But...

VLF-ONE - Maximized command handlers

Hi group, In a basic VLF-ONE business object like the shipped Resource Application -> People Business Object, you can select an entry in the instance List to show the command handlers window (Details, Salary Package). Re: LabelPosition

Did you increase the height of the field and set the MarginTop property to provide space for the caption to show?

If It is being hidden by the field above you really should be using a Layout Manager like the Table Layout to control the positioning of your fields.

DisplayOnly Property

Re: Is it possible to apply Visual LANSA theme draw style to VLF-ONE command handler?

Hi Stewart, Mark, Thanks for the additional information. I was able to achieve the result I wanted by setting the WebPage theme in the VLF-ONE IIP using the statement: #sys_web.WebPage.Theme <= #MyTheme This technique allows me to customize both the overall theme of the VLF-ONE and still use the The...

Re: Is it possible to apply Visual LANSA theme draw style to VLF-ONE command handler?

Hi Mark, Thank you for the information it was very helpful. I have been able to achieved my goal of using a corporate colour scheme in a VL Web Page. This is the concept I have been trying to reproduce in VLF-ONE. The way I went about it is a little different to how you explained. The steps to imple...
