Adding columns to an instance list is done by dragging fields to the instance list.

But sometimes, when you are designing an instance list for a business object, there is no database table, or the database table does not have a field for the instance list column you want to display. This could occur during prototyping.

In this case, you can use any fields from the repository. The fields beginning with STD_* are always available.

Or you could even define some place holder repository fields for designing the instance list with.
