Problem clicking on a row in list on webpage

Hi,
Depending how my web browser window is sized, affects my ability to click on rows towards the top of the list.
eg 1.
At this size, you can see when my mouse hovers over the 1st row, it is highlighted and I can therefore double-click on it. Also, when I hover over, say, the Phone column of the 1st row, I can't double-click on the row to display the popup panel that is supposed to display on the double-click event. eg 2.
When I resize the window smaller, like this, I can only highlight the 4th row and below and not rows 1 to 3.
Different sizings of the window affect which of the top rows I can highlight. I'm baffled why this could be?
Anyone's help would be much appreciated
Thanks,
john.
