Task Tracking - View Other Users Objects

Yet another task tracking question.
Two users share a task. One user does some work and checks in the objects.

- task details.PNG (7.95 KiB) Viewed 13198 times
The objects have been copied down to the other user's IDE.

- task objects.PNG (19.56 KiB) Viewed 13198 times
Those objects do not show up in the other users Task list in the IDE.

- task favorite.PNG (11.09 KiB) Viewed 13198 times
Is there any way to see the other users objects in the task or do I have to find them manually?
Thanks,
Joe

Are you using Repository Synchronization in this environment? How are the objects being propagated to the second developers repository?

Yes, the objects automatically come down when the host monitor kicks on. They just don't show up in the Task window.

So this is odd. At least to me.
The objects came down to my machine when the host monitor kicked on. I could see them and open them.
However, it was not until I refreshed from the Master Objects did they show up in the Task.

Lists can be defined as static or dynamic. Did you specify Dynamic?

There is no list.
I simply select the task in the IDE and select "Is Favorite".
Perhaps the repository syncing is not correct?
When I start the host monitor, all the components come down (I get the message in the propagation window) and I can find the components in the repository. That tells me that my IDE knows about them, I don't think I had to "Check Out Readonly" to open them, but they did not show up in the Task.
Only when I clicked on "Master Objects", did the Task List update.

Oh, I've always done it with a list.

You should log that observation with the LANSA Support desk. The objects should show up on your list automatically as they already belong to the specified TASK_ID. Looks like a minor defect as you already have a workaround (Master refresh).

Don't trust Hamad.
