Any tracing available for OAM?

We have a new problem where certain users are corrupting data. IBM i journaling reports the program as the OAM for the file name.
Is there anyway to get detailed info on what the OAM is doing like the component named that called it?
I'm trying to add a trigger to write a log file but I can't get it to run
