I've seen this error before, but can recall how to eliminate it. It seems to be prevent me from running the IDE in DEBUG.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Don

Additional Information:
Debug is not working in the IDE. When you run in DEBUG in the IDE the job executes, but debug is not engaged.

Hi Don,
Are you connection to a Virtual Machine where more then one developer can connect to?
We had an issue some years ago were a debug start seems to do nothing. After a while we noticed that the debugger was activated to the developer that first connected to that machine.
Kind regards,
René

Don: This saved me, not sure if it's related to your error...

Don, can you debug anything (forms/functions/web pages)?
Is the service started? Is the default port 51251 available?
The only thing I can think of in relation to the error is the langmap.txt file so perhaps its corrupted. Looking at my own vl environment, this langmap.txt is in the x_ppp partition folder. Try renaming it and see if the error goes away.
Or, since its in the partition folder, try debugging in a different partition and then copy that langmap.txt across (assuming you have the same languages defined in the partitions).

The debug issue was unrelated to this message the solution Art gave was the issue with debug. The message still appears at login though it doesn't seem to to cause any issue with the IDE. It is not a VM just a normal slave install to an IBM i.
