Re: Embedded documents (base64REncoded) in XML
Thanks Patrick.
I ended up using mapforce to handle the mapping rather than the 'FOR_EACH_TXTLIN'. It's a much neater solution.
I added a text file input using the base64 encoded file and mapped that to the xml document. I set the text file filename to dynamic and passed the filename into the map ...

Embedded documents (base64REncoded) in XML
Hi All,
Has anyone embedded a base64encoded document in an XML message using Composer and Mapforce? I've created a map that accepts a string, the encoded document, and maps it to an XML document provided by the US Government. The Process takes a word document file, zips it up, and then uses the ...

Re: RPG Calling LANSA and Receiving a List back
Thanks for the suggestions. I've decided to use a temporary table to hold the data passing back a reference number so the RPG can read the data.

Eugene

RPG Calling LANSA and Receiving a List back
Hi All,
I have a prospect that is looking to call a LANSA program using RPG, passing a set of parameters and receiving a list back. I've looked at the documentation on using the exchange list but no mention is made of passing a list of values. Anyone done this before? If so how?
Thanks in advance ...

Retrieving element name from JSON Message
Is there a way to retrieve the element name from a JSON message as well as the value?
I'm using the URL below to retrieve a list of the exchange rates. I now want to read through the returned JSON message and not only retrieve the value but also the element (key) name.

Hi Mark,
Good news! Now when will the next version of VLF-One be available?
The customer has decided to use Azure AD to authenticate their users so if the new version will be available in the next week or two I can focus on other parts of the project.

VLF One and OAuth
I'm looking at implementing OAuth2 for signing on to VLF One. I've worked through the examples and got those working. However, I'm lost on where to start implementing it for VLF One. I've created my own IIP component to validate the user and have started looking at creating my own client side logon ...

Re: VLF One and Themes
Thanks Mark. Worked a treat. Almost there! Now is there a way to make the icons use the same background colour without changing the colour of the title bar? So in the example below I want the ICON to have the same background colour but everything else to remain the same.

I've been experimenting with using a customiser reusable for VLF-One and a custom theme in order to run the VLF One application using a my own set of colours.

I want to create an interactive map of a train line for a subway. Has any one done anything similar that they could share?
In the mean time I've found a jquery plug in I can use to create a widget but its a case of trail and error to get it working. The link to the plugin is below.

VLF - One CSV Download
HI,
I'm trying to download a CSV file from a filter in VLF-One. The filter has a button which executes a server routine to download the CSV. This routine creates the list and transforms it into a CSV which is then sent back using the Response. The code I'm using is based on the examples shipped with ...
