Re: VL-WEB and Complex design

Hi Klaus,

it's hard to imagine the need for a 100 or more fields in any list construct.

What does it currently look like in the WAM? How do you intend to make it look in VL WEB.

Maybe post some screenshots so we know what you're trying to do.

Cheers,
Danny

Re: Default DrawStyle of Non-Material Design vs Material Design Controls

Hi Marcus,

it sounds like the default appearance you're after has more to do with shape than color, as color is pretty well defined by the theme.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly are you after?

Re: Theme color on #PRIM_MD.Edit

Isn't it just using another theme?

Or creating your own with the exact primary colour you're after?

Re: How to get data inside a Lansa grid using user32 SendMessage

Hi, it's not totally impossible. I've seen a robot testing tool inspect VL Windows applications in the past using the Windows Messages. And I can see some support for it in EditBox, ListView and Tree. But those are controls that exist as Windows controls, there's no such thing as a standard Windows ...

Re: How to get data inside a Lansa grid using user32 SendMessage

Hi,

this must be classic Visual LANSA for Windows, NOT rendering as DirectX.

But even then I think this is not possible. LANSA controls are not standard windows controls and as such I don't think they will respond to a tool like inspect.exe.

Re: Popup menu in a slider

Hi, This is just a guess because there's not that much to go on, I'm assuming you're using VLF ONE? If so, the problem might be the lack of context for the popup, have a look at the following sample page. Begin_Com Role(*EXTENDS #PRIM_WEB) Theme(#SYS_THEME<MaterialDesignBlue>) Define_Com Class(#PRIM...

Re: Override Enhancement on EditWord EditCode

Hi LANSA Guru, just found this unanswered question that I happen to know an answer to... You should be able to reset the edit code and then specify the edit word, as in : Override Field(#std_numl) Decimals(2) Edit_Code('') Edit_Word('''$ , , , , , , 0 -''') Define Field(#xnuml) Decimals(2) Reffld(#s...

Re: Not really a question - PWAs

Hi, I normally don't comment on work in progress as it's not of any use to anyone unless it's GA....but I just want to make one exception and mention that I happen to know that PWA's are definitely on the roadmap. Just remember that the definition of PWA is quite a broad one. This is what Google say...

There's many ways to navigate the JSON, depends whether you want a particular value, or iterate arrays... I just put a simple sample together, hope this helps. Hi,

VL WEB client side has the PRIM_WEB.JSON object/classes.

Hi Art, I was surprised to hear you say you had a patch for 142030, I have no idea how you got away with applying a patch for 142060 onto 142030... that sounds like a bit of a miracle :) Hi LANSAfolks, if you're concerned about crashes you could at least get up to EPC142060 and/or talk to support......

Re: VL-IDE slow

Hitting the Up button in the details tab is taking over 1 minute while IDE is frozen That can't possibly be acceptable in any way. It'll have something to do with whatever is open in the IDE at the time. A lot of code runs when the focus moves to a new component. Designer, detailer, outliner and al...

Hi Taku,

When you say:

"I would like to add a parameter to below HTML source."

What does that even mean?

Can you try to explain what you're trying to achieve?

Cheers,
