single sign-on web page

Post by magel »

Hello,

We would like to logon a user via a single sign-on to a Lansa web page.
1. Is this possible or does it only work with a client / server program?
2. Can someone give me a tip, how do we have to do that?

Thanks Magel

Hi Magel

When you say "single sign-on", are you asking about signing in to Windows and using the same user ID and password?

Browsers have very limited access to the machine on which they're being hosted, and I suspect that giving a webpage access to the user Id and password of the hosting device would be regarded as somewhat of a security risk.
