LANASA VL-WEB v.15 and MariaDB
Re: LANSA VL-WEB v.15 and MariaDB
Hi Klaus
While I have not used it with MariaDB, the connectors of CDATA that LANSA supports, allow to use MariaDB as just odbc accesible tables.
Maybe you would like to explore that alternative:

Re: LANASA VL-WEB v.15 and MariaDB
Hi
I have quit a big web-application (auto spareparts) build in LANSA webevent and WAM running on an IBM I. Now I am looking on how to convert it to vl-web running on a windows server. The application is a heavy data driven application, so no extra middleware. I don't want to pay huge amount to MS for license of af MS SQL server - therefor i am looking for an alternativ DB.

MYSQL is supported if you are looking for alternatives of databases.
