VL IDE on a Mac using either Parallels or Boot Camp

Post by AndrewLPV »

Does anyone have any kind of experience installing and licensing the VL IDE on a Mac using either Parallels (virtual Windows machine) or Boot Camp (dual boot)?

For history's sake...
I have an individual who has installed a copy of the VL Trial on their MacBook Pro in a Parallels environment, and it seems to be working fine.
What I like about the Parallels solution is that it does not require the user to decide whether to boot in one OS or the other. The Windows software runs in its own window, and the user can even copy and paste information from the Windows application to a Mac application, and v.v.
If we run into any issues or have more comments to make, I will post my findings.
