Double click or long-click for VL Web application on mobile device

Is there an feature that I am missing for use with VL web application when run on a tablet (mobile device) for double click or long-click?

I have an RUP, with Tiles loaded, and currently the .ItemClick feature is used for one function (select item to change a status field).

Now there is a request to add another function to the tile in addition to the current .ItemClick (select). I was hoping maybe double click or long click could be utilized for the new function.

When working with potential mobile devices has anyone implement a "double click" or "long click" for use within VL web?

For individual fields, the long-click brings up the browsers right-click menu options, but that is not what I am looking for.

You can show a pop up menu with 3 dots icon or something like that for multiple Acton... touch screen actions are mostly a simple click. Keep it simple and obvious actions in mobile devices.
Even the three dots may require use of little finger in a list
